• “Joe” is a character in the book “The Pickwick Papers” by Charles Dickens. The fatboy life revolves around drinking, eating, sleeping and making every conceivable effort to avoid work.

• Daredevil Cartoon character -  Fatboys member, Eight-Ball, was the boyfriend of the first Jubilee (Darla). He first appeared alongside the Fatboys in Daredevil vol. 1 #248. A former defense contractor who designed missile propulsion systems, 8-ball was fired after developing large gambling debt in pool. He was later assassinated by the Wrecker for Ricadonna after unwittingly stealing from her in Daughters of the Dragon #2. He had created a pool cue and hovercraft in the shape of pool rack and lead a gang of costumed villains named also after pool balls. His cue stick can amplify applied force by 1000. The members, who were all named after pool balls, are 6-Ball, 9-Ball and 11-Ball. Their weapons included using exploding billiard balls.

• Fatboy Slim  - Fatboy Slim (born Quentin Leo Cook on July 31, 1963, also known as Norman Cook) is a British big beat musician. He stopped using 'Quentin' and began calling himself 'Norman' while a schoolboy, long before he adopted any other pseudonym - like Fatboy Slim. Gave us immortal albums like Palookaville and Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars...
