ADSL is fast becoming the connection of choice for internet users.
If you're still uncertain whether you need it, you might be better of using ADSL if you:
- are a single user or a small group of users (+- 25) requiring permanent, high speed internet access.
- experience consistently high Telkom bills in the region of R500pm (home) or R800pm (business) when dialling via analogue dial-up or ISDN dial-up, to the Internet.
- require internet speed to occasional download large files (eg. drawings, music, programs, etc)
- require secure access to a corporate netwok or other VPN (virtual private network)
